Removable jaws and tongue offer a wide range of possibilities for practice and research.
Features:
Each tooth is individually crafted with a three-layer structure of enamel, dentin, and pulp. Each hard tissue (enamel, dentin, cortical bone, and cancellous bone) is matched to an appropriate Hounsfield number and X-ray absorption rate. The jaws and tongue are removable, allowing access to the oral cavity, pharyngeal cavity, and maxillary sinus, where sensors, simulated injuries, or deposits can be placed. Carotid arteries are represented as cavities that can hold simulated calcifications.
Anatomy:
Synthetic skull with nasal cavity, maxillary sinus, hyoid bone, mandibular alveoli, maxillary alveoli, cervical vertebrae, and teeth with enamel, dentin, and pulp. Also includes tongue, oral cavity, pharyngeal cavity, and carotid arteries.
What’s included: 1 main head unit, 1 upper jaw (alveolar bone), 1 lower jaw (alveolar bone), 1 tongue, 1 mounting base with screws, 1 tripod, 1 storage case.
