The Pro-MRI ACR Phantom is a 7″ (178 mm) MRI quality assurance phantom built to satisfy the testing requirements of the ACR MRI Accreditation Program. Its compact size lets it be scanned directly in a standard head coil, so facilities can run testing without switching to a larger coil setup.
The phantom is filled with a NiCl2/NaCl solution and includes test inserts covering geometric distortion, spatial resolution, slice thickness and position, image uniformity, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), low-contrast detectability, and slice position accuracy – the full set of measurements required for both daily QA and formal ACR accreditation testing.
