The Pro-RT ED phantom lets medical physicists correlate CT number to electron density for accurate tissue heterogeneity correction in radiotherapy treatment planning. Two nested disks represent the head and abdomen, with nine tissue-equivalent electron-density plugs (lung, breast, bone, liver, muscle, adipose, and a water-fill plug) positionable across 17 locations in the scan field.
