The Pro-MAM ACR FF is a full-field digital mammography accreditation phantom, approved by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and sized to cover the entire image detector, eliminating scatter effects seen with smaller test objects.
The phantom simulates a 42 mm compressed breast (50% glandular / 50% adipose) and includes a wax insert with graduated nylon fibrils, microcalcification specks, and tumor-like masses so facilities can evaluate a system’s ability to resolve the small structures seen in clinical mammograms.
